ADA Parking Information

ADA Parking

ADA parking is enforced 24 hours a day. A TWU ADA Parking permit in conjunction with an ADA license plate, or ADA identification placard allows the holder to park in any ADA space on campus.
TWU parking permits, including ADA permits, are required Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am and 9pm. ADA parking spaces are enforced 24 hours a day.

TWU ADA parking permits are issued to faculty, staff, and students who have a verified disability. Before registering and parking on University property all individuals with ADA parking needs requesting a TWU ADA parking permit, including Disabled veterans, must provide the Parking office a copy of their state ADA placard or a copy of the tax receipt for state ADA license plate confirming they are authorized to use ADA parking privileges. The person to whom the State-issued parking privileges have been issued must be present in the car entering the campus which displays the ADA identification device. Individuals with authorized ADA parking privileges may park in any space where parking is appropriate but not in any restricted or prohibited area such as yellow zones, fire lanes, tow-away, or reserved space.
